INGREDIENT CHOICES
Each soap bar is packed full of natural skin-loving oils and luxurious cocoa butter. We never use palm oil, which has contributed to deforestation and the loss of orangutans and Sumatran tigers. Lard is used as the hardening fat in all of our batches-- not only does it produce creamy and moisturizing soap, using it helps reduce the waste of the meat industry and make the most out of animals killed for other reasons. You will never find synthetic dyes or fragrance oils in our soap; only pure essential oils, natural clays, and plant colorants. Free of phthalates, parabens and preservatives, our soap is always crafted with the health of your body in mind.
COLD PROCESS
Our soap is made in small batches using the cold process method, the old-fashioned way of making soap. Lye is used to turn oils into soap through a process called saponification. In the final product, glycerin is formed and lye is no longer present. Each bar is individually cut and cured for at least 4 weeks to ensure a long-lasting, mild, and moisturizing soap. Edges of the soap are hand beveled for comfort and labels are stamped with our signature wax seal. Each bar is handcrafted with care-- you will be amazed at the difference from commercial soaps!
This listing is for one bar approximately 3.5 oz in weight.
Please note: Keep soap dry in between uses to prolong the life of your bar. Use an appropriate soap dish that allows for drainage and keep it away from direct streams of water.
